On behalf of Mass engineering (www.matteotti.com) we are working on the preservation and restoration of the consolidation project of the “Tre Canne” idraulic barrel, in Vighizzolo d’Este (Italy).

A barrel – more properly “siphon barrel” – is a particular hydraulic artifact, which allows one watercourse to cross another, preventing the respective waters from coming into contact with each other.

The “Botte” of Vighizzolo, built in the second half of the sixteenth century by the Republic of Venice, is an artefact subject to monumental protection.
